An important part of TCAC’s ministry is bringing neighbors together to cultivate Beloved Community. We actively engage diocesan congregations to be on the ground with us to meet and build relationships with neighbors who we may not otherwise meet.
Our aim is to lay the foundation for transformative personal encounters in God’s love so we more fully know, love, and pray with our neighbors by name.
Beloved Community Programs
Every Tuesday in July, students gathered in the dining hall at Crossroads of Michigan for a Free Children's Summer Lunch. Each lunch included dancing, singing, stories, arts & crafts, and games, all following the theme of Seekers in Sneakers: Discovering Jesus.
On average, 15 students attended each of the Tuesday lunches, with over 40 students who registered attending more than once!
2024 Vacation Bible School
Over the summer, a variety of partner churches brought lunches, shared in community with TCAC families, and participated in activities as part of the Free Children's Summer Lunch program. In total, lunch was provided on 15 different Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer.
Thank you to our 12 fantastic partner congregations and the 108 ministers among you who volunteered!
